Mental Health Services in
West Point & Across Nebraska

Mental health challenges can affect nearly every aspect of life—from how we think and feel to how we relate to others, manage responsibilities, and experience the world around us. Finding effective treatment begins with understanding the individual behind those experiences.

At Our Story Mental Health Services, we provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and mental health counseling to help individuals in rural Nebraska better understand their mental health concerns and explore appropriate treatment options.

We believe psychiatric care should be collaborative, thoughtful, and responsive to each person's needs. Whether you're seeking an initial evaluation, considering medication for the first time, or looking for ongoing psychiatric support, our goal is to help you make informed decisions about your care.

Psychiatric Services

Diagnostic Evaluations

A comprehensive psychiatric evaluation provides an opportunity to better understand your symptoms, personal and medical history, and treatment needs. Your provider will explore the concerns that bring you to care, consider relevant contributing factors, and discuss diagnostic impressions and appropriate treatment options.

Psychiatric Medication Management

Psychiatric medications can play an important role in treating a variety of mental health conditions. Our providers work collaboratively with patients to consider medication options, monitor effectiveness and side effects, and make adjustments when appropriate. Treatment is individualized and informed by each patient's needs, preferences, and response to care.

Telepsychiatry

Telepsychiatry allows patients to receive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management through secure virtual appointments. For eligible patients throughout Nebraska, telehealth can provide greater flexibility and accessibility while maintaining a collaborative relationship with their psychiatric provider.
