Personalized Treatment. Thoughtful Psychiatric Care.
Mental health challenges can affect how we think, feel, connect with others, and navigate everyday life. Finding an effective approach to treatment begins with being heard, understood, and recognized as an individual—not simply a diagnosis.
I believe psychiatric care works best when patients are actively involved in decisions about their treatment. My approach emphasizes careful listening, open communication, and understanding each person's experiences, concerns, and goals.
As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I work with adults seeking evaluation and medication management for a variety of mental health concerns. I strive to develop individualized treatment plans informed by current clinical evidence, while respecting each patient's preferences and priorities.
What Working Together Looks Like
Our work begins with a conversation about what brings you to psychiatric care. I want to understand not only the symptoms you're experiencing, but also your personal history, current circumstances, and what you hope treatment will help you accomplish.
When medication is appropriate, we'll discuss available options, potential benefits, and possible side effects so that you can participate meaningfully in treatment decisions.
Psychiatric care is rarely a one-time decision. Through ongoing appointments, we'll evaluate your response to treatment, address concerns, and make adjustments when necessary. I value the opportunity to develop lasting relationships with patients and support them through the changing circumstances of their lives.
Beginning Psychiatric Care
Seeking psychiatric care is an important step, whether you're considering medication for the first time or looking for ongoing treatment with a new provider.
My goal is to offer a respectful, collaborative experience in which your concerns are heard and your treatment decisions are informed by both clinical evidence and your personal goals.
Areas of Focus

Changes in mood, energy, motivation, and emotional stability can significantly affect everyday functioning and relationships. Psychiatric care can help clarify symptoms, explore appropriate medication options, and develop an individualized treatment plan that supports greater stability and long-term well-being.
Mood & Bipolar Disorders

Persistent worry, panic, and other anxiety-related symptoms can interfere with relationships, responsibilities, and quality of life. Through careful evaluation and collaborative medication management, we can explore treatment options that address your concerns while considering your individual needs and preferences.
Anxiety Disorders

Difficulties with attention, organization, impulsivity, and executive functioning can create challenges in daily life. Psychiatric evaluation can help clarify these concerns and guide conversations about medication options, treatment goals, and ongoing management.
